POLICE BRUTALITY?

The United States has been having many issues over the years, but one of the most prevalent, the topic of Police Brutality. The term Police Brutality was used as early as 1872 when the Chicago Tribune reported the beating of an American man. Since then, Police Brutality has gone through massive change, becoming an issue of violence in racism rather than just violence. Just a couple of decades ago, Police Brutality victims, especially black victims were suppressed by powerful policemen as the black victims did not have the power to share their tragic stories, or punish the officers committing crimes. However, in recent times, Police Brutality has gained tons of traction in media websites; and because reporters know that a Police Brutality case will gain traction, relevant news is covered with cases of Police Brutality. However, suppression and racism are still very prevalent in this issue, as Police Brutality continues to victimize black minorities whilst ignoring the significance and pain it brings to our citizens.
